Bragging a Bit

I just had to take a minute to brag about some of the work the seniors I teach arts and crafts to. These are some of the ceramics they have painted in the last few weeks. I love the ladies so much. Each one has their own special talents gifts.

I Love Architecture

These are photos I took when we went to Mackinaw Island a few years ago. I was looking though my photo library and ran across them. I love architecture. Details on a building make it stand apart from one to the next. Other than my own photo collection of different buildings, trims, accents, do dads and gingerbread on buildings I think I'm going to start adding other photos I find to my collection. I just like looking at it. It gives me a homey feeling. I just might add a few more photos here in the next few days - just because.

I Can't Resist

Ha Ha Ha!!! Brian (my husband) cracked me up the other day. He knows that every spare minute I have I spend it "pinning" things on Pinterest. Pinterest, if you don't know is a virtual pin-board website. I love it. It's such a great way to keep track of all the ideas and websites you find on the internet.

Anyway, Brian asked me if I pin things on Pinterest does it make me a "pinhead" - I couldn't help but crack up. He is so funny sometimes. So in honor is his "pun" with my 'fun" I created a sign to pin on Pintereset. I hope everyone who sees it thinks it's as funny as I did.

Today I decided to post a few of my HUNDREDS if images. I love to collect images off the internet. I don't always know how I'm going to use them but if they catch my eye, I keep them.

I chose two of my owl images just because people love owls right now. The fashion lady is simply because I love the colors and design of art work. And last but not least - it's almost football season. I live 20 miles from "BIG HOUSE" and LOVE U of M Football. September 3rd is the first game of the season. I can't wait - if you need me, i'll be in front of the television.

Fresh Flowers

I decided to start using my blog again. I couldn't think of a better way to start than with a fresh bouquet of flowers out of my garden. I love the backdrop of my daughters hardware cabinet and her bucket of craft papers. I love zinnias and blue salvia - the color combinations are endless.
